All my life, I knew that I was different and spent most of my life trying to fit in. I was in constant judgement of myself and making myself so wrong. I remember being a kid, and asking my mother if I could go see a counselor because I was unhappy. All I want to be was happy and normal yet, I wasn’t. As a teenager, I turned to alcohol, shopping, and skiing for an escape.

I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, and help others. I got a Master’s degree in Social Work and then,   I became a teacher. I always had a feeling that life was meant to be fun, and teaching allowed me to have fun, until it was not fun anymore. I taught for 15 years in Connecticut and left a great paying teaching job and my “rocky” marriage and moved to Montana.  I was seeking a greater life.

Fast forward to 2013, I was teaching and it was spring break. When I was riding my bike in Bozeman, MT and found a book shop that was doing a book club, on Dr. Dain’s book, Being You, Changing the World. We would read the book, and the facilitator would run our bars for 15 minutes. I just knew things were different, and I started being happy.

Bars helped me get out of the judgement of me and allowed me space to be me.  I stopped taking anti depression and anxiety medication and started living the dream. And, sometimes I am not even sure who I am and what I truly desire. I do know I don't want my old life back. Access Consciousness has given me tools and processes to be more happy with more ease.

Currently, I am living north of Milwaukee Wisconsin, with my enjoyable other. We enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and playing games. Once again,  I am teaching and making a difference in people’s lives. I offer Access Bars sessions, Access Bars classes,  and host gifting and receiving sessions.

All of life comes to me with ease, joy and glory.  What else is possible? How does it get any better than this?
